Jason Wasserman presented his work on institutional conscience rights, this weekend, at ICCEC. It is available here and will be published with multiple commentaries (including mine) in the forthcoming July 2026 issue of American Journal of Bioethics.
I am reminded of what Glinda the Good Witch told Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz: "You've always had the power, my dear. You've had it all along." Wasserman and colleagues are delivering the same message to U.S. healthcare entities.
