Clinical Ethics Agenda 2030 - VSED, MAID, Brain Death, Medical Futility

This wooden statute of Saint Peter of Alcantara was carved by Pedro de Mena in the 1600s. It caught my attention, this weekend, in the Cleveland Museum of Art. It depicts the monk receiving divine inspiration from God - a combination of ecstasy and pan that fueled his writing.

This is how I felt while attending ICCEC, this weekend, across the street from the museum. I looked to clinical ethics consultants to identify the big problems facing their patients. This helps me adjust my own research agenda to be more responsive and relevant. This helps assure real-world impact. Thankfully, the CECs delivered.
