The MacLean Center for Clinical Medical Ethics and the Bucksbaum Institute for Clinical Excellence continue their 2025-26 lecture series on “Dying, Death, and Beyond.”
My own session is on February 25, 2026: "Brain Death Backlash: Unregenerately Variable and Illegal Standards for Determination of Death by Neurological Criteria."
Other sessions on brain death will be presented by Lainie Ross and David Magnus. Still other sessions address MAID, psilocybin, and other issues.
