Fake Advance Directive Draws Murder Charges

I blogged about the Detroit area Linda Polk case back in April 2025 here. She is now being prosecuted for murder.

Polk falsely told a hospital doctor that she was retired lawyer Steven Zarnowitz's niece. Based on that status, Polk instructed the physician withdraw life support when Zarnowitz's health was failing after a stroke, Polk also had a fraudulent power of attorney for Zarnowitz's property.
