No VSED Bridge to MAID in England/Wales

In a recent series of four articles I shone a spotlight on how patients have been using VSED to become terminally ill and qualify for MAID. Unfortunately, my articles were cited as a reason to close the bridge in the UK MAID bill that was approved yesterday.  

This story in today's Independent illustrates exactly the sort of case for which VSED bridge to MAID would be appropriate. At least other options like VSED and Swiss MAID remain available.

While not exactly a "bridge" picture, here I am kayaking past Parliament last week after passing under more than a dozen bridges that were all open for foot or vehicle traffic.
