Juansette Sabrina Green removed her mother's intubation tube while her mother was being treated in the ICU at North Shore Medical Center in Miami.
She now faces a charge of aggravated manslaughter of an elderly person. It is unclear whether she would have been able to direct removal by clinicians pursuant to an advance directive or default surrogate authority.
