Australia's Northern Territory Parliament passed voluntary assisted dying (VAD) legislation yesterday.
The bill's passage brings the NT into line with the rest of Australia. VAD/MAID is now legal throughout the country.
Interestingly, while the NT is the last to authorize VAD/MAID, it was also the first. But its 1995 law was short lived.
