The Oregon Health Authority has published its latest report on medical aid in dying.
During 2025, 637 people received prescriptions for lethal doses of medications, compared to 609 reported in 2024. 37 prescription recipients (6%) lived outside Oregon.
Since the law was passed in 1997, a total of 5,520 people received prescriptions and 3,691 people (67%) died from ingesting the medications.
