Appropriate to Administer Futile Therapy?

Fifteen years ago, Bob Truog published a now widely-discussed article in the New England Journal of Medicine asking "Is It Always Wrong to Perform Futile CPR?"

This month David Korones published a similar article in the same journal. He concludes: "Looking back, I know that there was more than medicine in that little brown bag: there was hope."
