MAID - Abysmal Transparency on Facility Participation

At least four jurisdictions with MAID (California, Colorado, New Mexico, and Washington) require at least some facilities to make their MAID policies publicly available on their own website or with the state DOH. But every study assessing compliance shows that only a minority of affected institutions comply with these requirements.   

The failure of so many facilities to comply with transparency laws means that patients cannot make informed choices about where to seek healthcare or hospice services.
