Earlier this month, I addressed what healthcare ethics would look like in 10 years, in 2035. Here is a video of the session on YouTube. This was at Emory University for the 30th Annual Healthcare Ethics Consortium Conference.
I focused on three trends. In 2035, we will see:
- More MAID
- More AI-assisted decision making, especially for incapacitated patients
- More legislative interference with evidence based medicine
