I am so, so, so pleased that, this morning, the Healthcare Ethics Consortium included this powerful panel of patients sharing their experiences with medicine.
Many bioethics conferences permit physicians to speak to lawyers, philosophers to physicians, lawyers to nurses, and more. But we too often omit the patients themselves.
