Apparently, a North Carolina hospital erroneously determined death on neurologic criteria, twice. Here is a quick summary of the timeline.
Saturday, August 28, 2022 - clinicians at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Hospital determined that Ryan Marlow was dead.
Monday, August 30, 2022 - clinicians realized that was wrong and that Ryan was still alive.
Tuesday, August 31, 2022 - clinicians determined that Ryan was now dead and changed the time of death from Saturday to Tuesday.
Friday, September 2, 2022 - Ryan is apparently alive again.
