Pippa Knight Medical Futility Case May Now Head to Supreme Court

This week, the UK Court of Appeal upheld the trial court's January 2021 judgment that it is in the best interest of 5-year-old Pippa Knight to receive ongoing life-sustaining treatment.

Pippa's mother, Paula Parfitt opposes the treatment plan of Evelina Children's Hospital. Apparently supported by SPUC, Parfitt is likely to appeal the judgment to the UK Supreme Court and the European Court of Human Rights as other parents have in similar recent cases.
