Medical Aid in Dying - in Illinois
I just completed several talks on medical aid in dying in Illinois - at the Southern Illinois University School of School, at Memorial Hospital of Carbondale, and at the SIU School of Medicine in Springfield.
These were part of being the 2020 Marsha and John Ryan Bioethicist in Residence. Among other things, I pointed out how much growing discussion there is about MAID and that Illinois is surrounded by states with active MAID legislation.
