Join the Clinical Ethics Department at Children's Minnesota for the Clinical Ethics Boot Camp: Religious and Cultural Implications at the End of Life.

This year's Clinical Ethics Boot Camp on March 20th and 21st will address the specific needs of patients facing end of life decision and religious based conflict. Participants will increase their competence by learning strategies to have end of life discussions when cultural or religious based conflicts arise. The boot camp will also give participants skills to recognize and respond to this kind of conflict.

Attendees will learn 

  • About end of life care from speaker Tamim Saidi, PharmD, RPh
  • About Hmong traditional health beliefs from speaker Zha Blong Xiong, PhD
  • About American Indians and end of life care from Lisa Skjefte and Dorene Day
