Voluntary Stopping Eating & Drinking (VSED) to Hasten Death - Prevalence
Sabrina Stängle and André Fringer have been publishing quite a bit on VSED. In some of their most recent work, they calculate the incidence of VSED in Switzerland is 0.7%, and for all deaths in long-term care facilities the incidence is 1.7%. That compares favorably to MAID rates.
