  1. Pictures and words are a means of communicating and influencing to a certain point of view.

    I would have more respect for this presentation if the author had indicated that it costs Medicare and private Insurance and the tax payers too much money for OLDER Medicare/Medicaid patients to die in ICU and CCU!

    The hiding of the "double effect" of hastening the death of the elderly/disabled to save money for Medicare/Medicaid and true compassionate end of life care based on "medical futility" proven by some "due process" procedure is ignored.
