A real highlight of the day was a compelling and beautifully delivered reflection from a mother, Melissa Fournier, about her very premature daughter. While she included her poems at certain points, Melissa's entire presentation had the emotional cadence and well-timed delivery of poetry.
I am delighted to see that some of my other upcoming meetings (like ISDM) participate in the "Patient's Included" program. This demonstrates that these events are committed to incorporating the experience of patients as experts in living with their condition.
